To better manage risk during non-trading hours and protect users from adverse weekend price gaps, Bybit TradFi CFD has updated the margin requirement for withdrawals initiated during weekends.

Effective Date: June 26, 2026

What's Changing

**Scope: This update applies to Bybit TradFi CFD (Gold&FX) Global accounts only. EU accounts (Bybit X) are not affected.

Calculation Formula
A weekend withdrawal will only be processed if the following condition is met:
(Account Equity − Credit − Withdrawal Amount) ÷ Used Margin ≥ 200%
Where:
- Account Equity = Balance + Unrealized P&L
- Credit = Any active trading bonus / credit funds
- Used Margin = Margin currently held by open positions

What This Means for You
- If you have open positions over the weekend and wish to withdraw funds, please ensure your account maintains sufficient equity before submitting a withdrawal request.
- Withdrawal requests that do not meet the 200% margin level threshold will be rejected during the weekend window (Saturday 00:00 – Sunday 23:59, UTC+2; subject to DST — actual cutoff follows server time).
- This change applies to all Bybit TradFi CFD (Gold&FX) Global accounts.
- Weekday withdrawal rules remain unchanged.

Why This Change
Forex, commodities, and index CFD markets are closed over the weekend. Price gaps can occur when markets reopen on Monday, which may result in significant losses for users with open positions and insufficient margin buffers. This adjustment helps safeguard user accounts during this higher-risk period.
